Native American Rain Bath Ceremony

Rain Bath is an ancient form of aroma therapy intended to rebalance the physical through affecting the nervous system with plant oils, aromas, and healing stones. This treatment is a very gentle and non-invasive method of alleviating stress and anxiety, helping to restore balance to the body's chemistry.

A variety of physical ailments can be affected by the energies of essential oils. Rain Bath Ceremony cleanses, protects, nurtures and enhances the nervous system. This is a neurological treatment that assists the body with detoxification, eloquently blending modern science with ancient tradition.

Native American Winter Warrior Massage

Winter Warrior is a deep tissue cold stone massage workshop.  In most Native American traditions, winter is the time of death and purification.  Because it was considered strong, powerful, and threatening, it was always respected.  When combing cold winter temperatures with the bravery and strength of the warrior, we can fight pain in new and lasting ways.  While the warrior fights the pain battle, the chilled stones bring the hibernation of winter, allowing the client to relax and heal more deeply than with other forms of massage.

About Me!

Hi! My name is Dennise!  I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist in Louisville, Kentucky.  A graduate from the Virginia School of Massage, as well as a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).  I specialize in medical massage focused in neck and back pain management, including other modalites and tecniques such as Swedish, Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Hot Stone Massage, Cupping Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Chair/Seated Massage.

After more than 10 years in the medical field as a Medical Office Coordinator, I longed for a career in Massage Therapy to help my husband with his Chiropractic practice, but then realized I found my passion in life!  I was already familiar with the benefits of massage, for as a teenager my mother was first introduced to chiropractic/massage care as a way to help relieve tension and pain after her low back surgery.

This career has given me the opportunity to start my own business and help others find a path towards wellness.  Having worked alongside chiropractors, physicians, athletes, accident victims, expectant mothers, children as well as elderly. I have focused heavily on therapeutic massage because so many people experience chronic pain that often do not respond to traditional medical treatments, and who are, therefore, searching for an alternative solution.  I specialize in alleviating long-term pain, and discomfort.  I founded Nativa Massage and healing Arts to address these types of issues.

I will continually strive to bring our clients the best in alternative medicine and customer service with a caring and compassionate touch!

Yours in Health...
Aho!

Native American Healing Hands

"Healing Hands" is a term used to describe a variety of wellness methods taught to energy healers throughout the world.  Shamans have been offering this form of hands on, energetic healing for generations.  The most common and popular form of this work at the moment is from Japan and is known as Reiki.

Healing Hands uses a different symbol system than Reiki, yet draws upon the same innate wisdom of the universe to bring about balance for the client.  The symbols used in Healing Hands have been drawn as petroglyphs and pictographs in Native American rock art throughout the Americas.

This is a natural and non-invasive healing art.

Massage Therapist Prayer

Let me dedicate my life today to whose who come my way...

Let me touch each one with healing hands,
and the gentle arts in which I stand...

Let the divine force flow from me to you,
let our energy and spirit renew...

And when tonight, when the day is done...
let me rest in peace,
if I helped just one!

Amen!
